Disclaimer: I did have a small part in this PR campaign, but even if I didn't it would still be funny as hell. I think my article is pretty funny as well: http://knowhow.napaonline.com/napa-gives-old-cars-the-new-car-commercial-treatment/

Somehow they nailed three of the vehicles I have owned: my '88 Mazda B2000, my '96 Sunfire, and my 2002 Camry.
Woah, those are really terrific! I hope those commercials get popular so I can do an homage when it comes time to sell my next car.
There are sooo many awesome used cars out there-it seems like they could do the commercials with something cool instead of picking on how crappy most peoples cars are.
Hahaha those are great! Especially the compact pickup, that one nails it!
Oh man. Which one of us did those? Cause that are so true.
They have to be better than their old 'NAPA know how' commercials.

my wife had that exact cavalier when we met.
There should be a video for white Ford F Series, because that's about 90% of the business we get at my store.
i had 2 of those Cavaliers- a 97 and 98- and that video pretty much sums them up... now i have Kronos, the S.O.D.(Saturn of Doom- i call myself Seargent D when i drive it)- 4 doors of 1999 vintage plastic and metal propelled by 4 cylinders of whatever the opposite of fury is..

Who do you think is shopping for parts at NAPA?

yup.. NAPA knows their demo and they direct their marketing towards it.
i wonder if Autozone will copy the idea and show kids in flat brimmed hats and sagging pants hanging shiny stuff on their stanced Civic with 3 aftermarket 17" wheels and one stock 14" wheel with a cheap hubcap on it..
This defines "Target Demographic" to a T.
