Need help finding parts to make a sight tube

So I'm making a water filter for home use and want to add a sight tube on the side so we can see when the bottom container is getting full. Here's what I'm thinking:

SS elbows, threaded on one end (inside the tank) and barbed on the other (for the tube)

Any idea where to find these elbows? What about 1/4" (?) clear tube for the sight?

Any better ideas?

Clear PVC or glue up some acrylic?

Tractor supply or an Ag store that has spraying supplies. Maybe on line?

Bulkhead fittings for the containers. Google 90° hose barb fitting, ebay, Amazon etc.
