I currently have the newer W201. The black plastic strap is easy to clean in food service.

I love the look of nice watches. SWMBO has given me several as gifts over the years, which added to my small collection. Even after paring down the fleet a few years ago, I have 4 nicer watches left. Nicer being Diesel and Kenneth Cole - not really show stopping brands, but theyre the designs I liked most and also have sentimental value. 2 are automatic and skeleton designs, and 2 are more contemporary designs. But, I almost never wear them anymore because Ive become an addict to the functionality of my smartwatch. Step one is admitting you have a problem...
It's hard to argue against something more useful vs just a timepiece.
But if you want to admit a problem...
I am a huge fan of Seiko Lassale. They are extremely well made. Very thin. They are more of a dress watch but I don't have a problem warring mine with casual dress. All of mine keep perfect time. They are a little bit pricy running in the 100-200 dollar range for good ones but to me they have the quality of watches 4-8x the price. I have a bad habit of searching eBay for them every now and then.
Update: After a day and a half, it's still on the money. I almost said that it's now 5 minutes slow, but then realized it was operator error.
So I guess the within 2 minutes a day thing was just a CYA for the seller. Like "It's forty bucks. Don't biatch to me if it doesn't keep time."
My daily driver is BombFrog Minesweeper. Limited edition (1 of 200) automatic dive watch. I added a stainless oyster band. I've been wearing it for about 2 years and really like it.
