Same e-mail address was on 9 listings in the DC area. How many fools will fall for this?

Ask them if you can pay them with a brand new very expensive laptop instead (look for a model about the same price as the deposit, check Apple, Alienware and Sager). They'll probably say yes. Then send them anything in the right size and weight range - cardboard laptop with Rickroll permanently drawn on screen + rocks, dead laptop lying around, etc.
When it arrives in the port in Nigeria they'll have to pay an unholy amount of duty on the laptop, sight unseen, but it's okay because they're getting a new laptop to run scams with! Then they open it and lulz ensue

Thats awesome. I always try to get them to send me a photo of them with a sign that says "Ileikboiz". Hasn't worked yet but I'm hoping.

the house is as listed on craigslist permonth and security deposit is $800, because we want a fast renter we have made this very affordable, so that our home will not be unkept and looking old very soon, you know how it is when you live a house for a long time, even if you are not ready to move in now you can hold down the house till you are ready, as rent will not start counting untill you move into the house..... so that the house will be in good condition , and you will only be paying the security deposit before you receive keys/papers to move into the house as i will use that to process the delivery of the keys and papers and i will also have to pay for you to receive the package door step delivery, i will mail to you via overnight delivery via direct flight delivery from the international airport here, you can contact the delivery office on airport.delivery.point@deliveryman.com they gave it to me when i went to register the keys and papers, so i already have the keys and papers are at the airport now you can confirm that from them.... the reg number is 26710 and you will get this keys and papers next tomorrow evening if i get back to them with the payment of the registrations, flight fee, control fee and home delivery fee too today or tomorrow morning...............i will like you to get back to me with the below information so i will know what to write on the paper and where to mail the package.... .fill out the little information below if you are ready to hold down this house or move in so i will make out time today and tomorrow to mail you papers and keys.......we can also talk on phone i can call you if you like...please fill the below
