My little brother is in need of short term transportation. He's been through a rough patch, and yesterday his Hyundai decided to act like a Nissan and the CVT did CVT things.
Hes moving back to UT at the end of September when his lease is up. In the meantime, he has a 2 hour daily commute, and no support in the area.
He lives in Tuckerton NJ, and not sure exactly where his delivery route is based from.

I'm assuming that cheap and reliable are the main criteria, with everything else a distant third.

A good friend has this 2010 Explorer available. $5000 OBO, and he's a mechanic by trade. He's also a good guy.

I just have a big circle of car friends in the right general location. I know both these sellers, too, and will vouch.
I've been half-heartedly thinking of selling my Mark 8, but with the wheels, it likely won't be a bargain for him. I could put the stock wheels back on, but then I'm stuck with a relatively odd bolt pattern and wheels that will be tough to sell.
