Wife and I are going 8/31 in Boston and I can't wait! Great article. I don't think people give Mike enough credit for launching the careers of hundreds of now big, mainstream bands through his label, and I'm excited to finally see him perform.
I'm a little sad I didn't pay the $$$ to see them in Orlando, but I'm currently on a side quest against insane ticket prices and this one was one of the insaniest, IMO. Good to see them going out playing in top form though. I've seen a few bands I've seen several times over the years recently and they just....haven't been great to the point where you're like "The hell happened to these guys?"

Don’t feel bad as I skipped that show, too. We’ve seen them before, and I just wasn’t up for a festival. I did see Circle Jerks the day before or after, though.
