One of the more interesting ways to die at the hands of a Pontiac 389

I feel fairly comfortable in saying this has to be the only rotorcraft with Pontiac V8 power

I imagine on any given day, you'd find the sky fairly crowded with aircraft sporting mid-60's Pontiac 389 power, no? laugh

I'm a pilot, an Experimental Aviation Association member for 30 years, and a huge proponent of homebuilt aviation. No. No berkin way would I fly that.

After looking at description and pick up window, I expect they'll have to pay someone to haul this thing off.

But the auction has some interesting items, lots of tools, and there's lot 1227 if you're looking for a challenge car.

This will be how the first Lemons driver dies piloting their own private aircraft.

Once this occurs it'll be time to recognize Lemons racers as professional racing drivers.

Um. That thing has a radiator right behind the cheap plastic seats with no protection. I keep thinking of that Cleetus Whatshisname radiator explosion video where the driver got roasted.

8 missing plugwires. Normally I'd look at that as being a bit of a negative but not here.

Looks like the center of gravity doesn't match the center of thrust.   Isn't that required for a helicopter?
