Last night we saw Flag, the "supergroup" mostly comprised of past Black Flag members, including original lead singer Keith Morris. Wow. Just wow. It was controlled chaos, all going off right at point blank.
This isn't from last night, but you get the idea:

The tour is just about over, too. Hopefully they do it again.
Totally. In fact, I'm seeing them again on Sunday. (Might be a little tired on Monday.)
That's the kind of violence this country needs right now.
Last night's show was just as epic.
Punk rock at the Moose Lodge. Something seems so right, and yet so wrong, about that.
Henry Rollins is coming to town this year and I plan on attending. I wonder if he'll do any Black Flag songs.
They were completely raging in DC last week, and were in Baltimore 4 years ago. And I'm fortunate to be old buds w/ Stephen from his days in DC when we were briefly in a band, so he had a day of the night before and came over to drink coffee and catch up. Also, I finally got to meet Bill, one of my drum heroes of forever, and we got to compare craniotomy scars.
