By the way, JG and I saw them like a week or so after Cory passed away. They might be monsters from another planet, but it was a pretty emotional show for them. Sadly their most recent trip through Florida coincided with SEMA.

there's a 3rd type … those that have never heard of Gwar

But now you are not a third type anymore, because you have heard of them...Now you are the fourth type- You've heard enough about them to not care at all.
I am type 5...I assue that they are a joke right? The fat accountant guy on bass, that's funny! Are they from Coco or Kimmel?

Let's hear it for 4th typers!! I prefer bands that rely on talent, not gimmicks to gain notoriety. That's just my opinion, and I'm sure it's wrong, right?
I like Gwar but the lead singer sounded like an idiot when he said he had never heard of the song. C'mon, really? I highly doubt that, mr plays your character's part too seriously. ;-)
Gwar is like the 4th wall. They know they're taking the piss out of themselves, but they play it so well, they seem like they're genuinely just insane.
GWAR, only saw them live once. Opening Job for a Cowboy and Lamb of God.
They were entertaining to say the least.

Knowing how GWAR shows typically go- how did they handle all the blood and gore? I can't imagine the later acts wanting to slip all over cuttlefish spit, as it were.

From what I remember, , they put most of it out over the crowd.
Hailing from my hometown of Richmond, VA. YEAH RVA!
GWAR guys are pretty cool actually. Their shows are an experience to be remembered. The music is most always secondary to the live show.
