New to me anyway.   Got this from someone in Virginia.

"Watch your accounts:  Got a letter from Social Security on Friday.  Usually, I just toss these aside as they are generally drivel.  LUCKY Glenda opened it.  It read:  "Per your request, we will change your Direct Deposit to your new account effective June 15."  I never asked them to do that!  Went to the SS Office and sure enough, the new account was at a bank we have never used.  Not a coincidence that at the same time the request was made, the Post Office had received a request, "from me" to stop delivery of our mail, and they had stopped delivering.  We corrected that; but the hacker tried to stop us from getting that notice from SS. The personnel at SS were very helpful and got it fixed.  JUST WATCH OUT.  THERE ARE SCUMBAGS OUT THERE."

This actually happened to a guy at work with his paycheck.  Someone had sent an email to the accounting/payroll department looking like it came from him instructing them to change the direct deposit account.  They made the change, but fortunately ADP sent an FYI email to the guy who said WTF?!? and they changed it back before a payment went AWOL.
