Our little podunk Convoy, is the home of Crestview Schools and the Crestview Knights basketball team, they went 29-0 for 2014, winning the State Championship with a perfect year.
Convoy has a population of 1600.

Always nice to see local kids do well!!!
But Convoy has 1600 residents??? That's bigger than the town I grew up in...
Convoy has 1600 residents? Wow, I figured 400 or so.
I too will express my amazement at 1600.
That would seem to be almost enough for a traffic light.
It's always fun to see the small towns win a championship, and with a perfect record to boot. My home town (population around 2500 these days) won state in football and wrestling this year; it was the fourth time for the football team in the school's history but first time ever for the wrestling team.
And I thought having a graduating class of 340 people in high school was small.
340 was about the entire population of my entire high school. There were 68 kids in my class, if I remember correctly.

270 in my class (1967) still the largest class ever for the HS … consolidated and opened in 1955
How soon till there's a movie about this starring Gene Hackman?
Does Ohio breakup sports into different classes based on school size?
In reply to fritzsch: No, they beat all comers from all cities within Ohio

Actually, yes.
Division 1 (The biggest schools) Lakewood St. Eds
Division 2 Norwalk the town next door to me
Division 3 Lima Central Catholic
Division 4 Convoy Crestview
Through, of all the divisions, Convoy was the only school to go completely undefeated. 29-0 record. Though ironically, Norwalk had a record of 29-1.
