Oh. I thought referring to people by their number was mostly a NASCAR thing.

Aw, that's nothing. Roger DeCoster won his last world MX 500cc title at age 36. 
Yeah, 32 is definitely old for Supercross. Typically those guys leave in their late 20's and start whoopin' ass in just about every field of car racing. Funny; you never see it the other way around. So what could possibly be the toughest form of motorsport on the planet...? So far nobody's beaten DeCoster's feat. John 'Junkyard Dog' Dowd won the 1998 125 West championship at age 33, he came closest.
