Brilliant. Let's desensitize the vast majority of the idiots on the road to the idea of a kid in the road. The first time they see the image it will likely (a) frighten and (b) piss them off. The second time they see a kid in the road they'll think it's just one of those dumb signs berkeleying with them and won't slow down, right until they hit the real kid who is there.
