however this one is not for sale....
Rust bucket list?
Hoping you find an example that doesn't need quite so much reconstructive surgery...
But it's patina! Don't you know, it's cool these days to have a car that looks like it's been abused and neglected.

in the import world its called "motorfix" style... you just fix up the engine/drivetrain, you leave the patina(rust, body dents, and dings)
Imports, huh? Those guys.
They should call it the "but bodywork is haaaaaaard" style. I don't mind a car with an aged exterior from years of use and care, but missing headlights, perforating rust and mangled bumpers say neglect.

They should also call stance "proper tires cost too much" style.
Come South, panels are not a hard vehicle to find. I know of at least a half dozen ranging from rat to driver to restored to 80's hot rod style that are for sale.
I'm more of a Ford guy, but I know of a '55 Chevy panel near me (Western Connecticut) in similar condition that's been for sale for at least a year. PM me if you're interested and I can get his info.
I am also a Ford fan, never really took to the early GM trucks. Had a 54 I put on a 4wd late 60's Ford back in the 80's...shoulda hung on to that one.
