Define cheaper...

I have a BS from a private school located suspiciously close GRM World Headquarters and I am working on my MS through their online campus. That said it's $560 a credit hour which I doubt I would be able to afford if my employer wasn't picking up the tab.

There's a few community colleges that offer online courses and many state schools also offer online options, PSU for example, and they tend to be much more reasonable than private institutions. I'd stay away from the for profit schools as they're constantly under investigation for the graduation rates which tend to be much lower than any non-profit.

As for a business degree, generally they have a concentration which goes along with them, HR, finance, etc. It's a solid general degree which most likely won't backfire trapping you with a very narrow set of options for work.

Update; Unless I change my mind before mid january, I'm going back for an AS in Business Administration that I can finish in a year or less. I would have liked to have a focus on finance, but the community tech didn't offer it, and the state uni where I live is all medical based because of the mayo clinic/hospital.
