BMW should introduce every model redesign on April 1st. We'll never be sure if it's a joke or if they're going to be that horrifically ugly.

I have a theory that the Voltswagen rebrand was very cleverly timed. A few days before April 1, let it "leak". If everyone freaks out, you have an out. If not, you can go ahead with the plan.

I mean, that's probably not what happened but that explanation pleases me.

The Porsche announcement is a good one because it's just so plausible.
