I need some with an ID of 1/2 inch and an OD of 5/8 or for those smarter than us Americans ID 13mm and OD of 16mm.  I can't find that at all.  Seems they all have "wall" thickness of at least 1/8 inch.  Am I hunting an unicorn?

Basically very thin washers that are stuck together.  Used when you want to say index something that's being threaded on.

Searched on "shim washers" and got several hits. Closest seems to be on ebay "ARRMA Washer 13x16x0.2mm (4) - ARA709031".  Could not copy link for some reason.

We use peelable stock at work. Comes in 0.125" sheets and each peel is ~0.002". Those that cry about a paper cut need to see the real hell.

I have never heard of these.  That's neat.

Used to use the peelable stock for shims doing gearbox and motor alignments on very large equipment. Beat grinding spacers to thickness 8-10 times for each mounting foot.

Put a nut in a lathe, run a mating bolt through a 1/2" washer, tighten it down and turn to the diameter you need.

Bingo except someone that shall not be named had a barrel cut down then threaded.  That same someone forgot about the adjustment screw on their gas block extending out 1/2 inch past the threads.  That same someone now needs a customized muzzle brake and .625 washers to index it because a crush washer is too big.

Once you get your numbers worked out you could REQUEST someone turn the part you need...

I know but looks like $3 off the shelf stuff will work so that's not worth asking for.
