Petit LeMans - Who's going?

I'm trying to determine how much cheap beer I should buy ;).

I'll be there in the CSP Miata and am definitely looking forward to being there. It'll be the first time in 3 years since I've been able to attend.

There should be a big presence this year from the local BMW club. I'll be there on Friday with my Dad and on Saturday I'm bringing my fam.

I'll be there in the Group 44 van. Come by the booth and meet our newest staff member Sarah Beltrami. We'll be there late Thursday, then all day Friday and Saturday.

Miata is parked in the garage and I never did tag it this year. I usually get in free on Mazda's dime by using the Miata for the driver parade lap but this year is just not going to happen. Glad Speed is showing the complete race this year.

I couldn't find any info on the wed-thurs practice sessions? I will be at the UNC v. Tech game saturday but would like to make it out this week. Is it even possible to purchase a ticket for a week day?

60 hrs a week for work, trying to finish my degree at night, broke, broke, broke.

Maybe next season but most likely late season 2010 or just start fresh in 2011. Sucks.

This had been on my "really want to go" list ever since my first ALMS race at Mid Ohio but things have not worked out yet. Maybe I should start planning right now to go next year.

What's the deal with the night practice tonight? when does it start etc..

Who saw veteran GRM test ninja James Clay and the Bimmerworld crew sweep the Speed World Challenge race? Awesome! OTOH, I was bummed to see Jason Saini and the Mazdas struggle.

The gap between the big teams and independents like Alex Ratcliffe and John Whitaker makes me wonder what's next for the series. I think the rulemakers could learn a few things from the Koni Challenge series, and hope that something is done to help build the fields back up. This series is too cool to die.

The Porsches seem to be getting a bit light. T3 seems to be inflicting some serious 2 wheeling. Awesome shots.

yup. just got back to the house with about 2 hours to go, they are definitely gonna call the race, way too wet...

disappointing end to the race. McNish was berkeleying flying (as usual), but the rain ended his, and Audi's, chances.
