So, I’ve been obsessing about cutting the windshield frame out of my zzw30 commute attack car lately. I need some encouragement or discouragement in the form of a photoshop to see how it’ll look. Can someone help me out?
Thanks in advance guys!

I’ll do a little carbon deflector with some turnbuckles to adjust angle of attack and a carbon rear view stickin up in the middle.
Am I insane for wanting this? All my friends are super opposed to me doing this. I trust you guys more for the record.
I think half windshield speedster look would be cool. Ditching the glass all together is both lighter and easier though.

You say it is a commuter, right? Are you still going to be able to run it on the street in your area? If I nremember correctly, you've pulled a bunch of weight out of this car. Why not go further? It is quite a committment, but you could weld it back on, or find another MR2 if you don't like it.
Maybe pull your windshield out and drive it with the bare frame for a bit as a test.
I guess I don't understand why? It's wildly impractical for a street driven vehicle and is likely to kill your resale value as most people are going to want a windshield even in a toy. It's not easy to undo either.
If it were already damaged, or the car was track only then I guess I kind of get it. But I think the downsides outweighs the positive benefits for a perfectly fine car that gets driven frequently on public roads.
It won't be pleasant on the street but it sure looks good! Maybe make it detachable somehow? Attach pipes to the windshield frame that go into holes in the chassis and then receive bolts?

Yes. I wouldn't do it without a full cage to protect my noggin, which more or less negates the gains from the lack of windshield.
You do know that IndyCar and F1 both are moving away from completely unprotected cockpits as are most other race series, right?
At least a proper rollbar and a half-windshield for just autocross and occasional street work.
I guess I never really understood this mindset ( though I’m sure it’s a common perspective) In my mind it’ll still be far safer than my ducati.
I had "something" fly off a truck and hit my windshield so hard it sound like a gunshot. Are you planning on wearing a helmet for commuting?
