Pinterest and Tumblr

A question for the floor: Do you use Pinterest and/or Tumblr for car stuff?

Since it sounds like a poll- no for both.

(which brings a side point- maybe you need a poll function?)

Yes to Tumblr, and SWMBO dabbles in car stuff on Pinterest.

Yes. Not very enamored with Pinterest, but it is a quick way to share images with friends. I've found it much easier to gain and engage followers in tumblr.

My daughters being on Pinterest and having it follow their posts and duplicate them on FB has made me avoid it like the plague.

They are still on it and somehow got it to quit following them. They never knew that Pinterest was letting everyone else know where they'd been and what they'd been looking at till all their friends rose up in mass revolt at the sheer number of posts it was generating.

I've been on for a few years, and it's addictive. Tumblr is the epitome of short attention span. IMAGE OVERLOAD! I love it.

For those interested, I'm auto-motif.tumblr.com, and I am also in charge of the 9magazine.tumblr.com account. Both are car picture blogs that rarely deviate.

I tried pinterest, but the mobile user interface didn't engage me enough to keep coming back. It's too difficult for me to integrate into my life. (Yeah, I'm a whiny Bob Costas).

I am on Pinterest. Very quick way to save pictures off the interwebz without loading up my computer.
