There you are, laying in bed, trying to put the moves on her, but she's got that damn laptop sitting on her lap looking at all the pretty pictures of recipes, home furninshings made of scrap pallets, etc. You say, "wanna fool around?" She says, "when I'm finished, gimme a few minutes." You wait for HOURS, then fall asleep, frustrated.

yes, but here, the rate of picture posting is reasonable. If tumblr is 10k more picutre posts than the hot link thread, it would be overwhelming. And is, as far as I'm concerned.

It's more like.... 10,000,000x the posts. But it's indexed, and you search for what you want. It's not really a force fed stream of pictures, it's more a conglomerate of picture-based blogs.
The rate that your "feed" comes across is directly related to how many "blogs" you subscribe to.

No to both. But asking your current audience about ways to gather more market share may not be the best way to go about things. If grm is lookin to communicate with its current customers better than this is ok, but if you are looking for new customers this is probably not the proper polling method.
