To all.
I stand corrected!
Seems that both sides pull some shady crap. I'm against it all. D's or R's. Just let the vote happen and the chips fall where they may ya know? Farkin' ridiculous.
..and Poopshovel's avatar is funny and definitely not p.c. I laugh everytime I see it. We could photoshop McCain's head under a coolie hat attached to a body in black pajamas. Ak-47 in hand. Squint up his eyes a little...

Think about towing the "OBOMINATION" from Gwinnett county Georgia, through downtown Atlanta, then on through Dekalb county (home of Cynthia McKinney) to Columbia SC, then ask me if I care. The folks trying to run us off the road didn't ask us for an "explanation," and I'm ok with that. We didn't call the cops. We didn't try to pick a fight or start waving guns around. We just laughed, as did anyone else with a sense of humor.
If I had a dime for every time Bush was compared to Hitler or a monkey in the last 8 years, I wouldn't have to sweat paying my taxes this year.
Sorry your thread got jacked Xceler8x.

Throw a charred baby arm in the mix, theme-park turkey leg style, and I'd giggle.
Many of the comments in this thread remind me of why I love my shirt with Marx on it and the caption "Where my bitches at?" The number of kids that tell me it's a cool shirt, but "Who is that guy" is amazing.

Who, after all, speaks to-day of the annihilation of the Armenians?
edit: just cause noone objects. does it make it right? I realize that the above quote may be semi obscure.

THE_POOL_IS_CLOSED. Jesus. For someone who likes to call people "whiny bitches," you sure can be a whiny bitch. If you'd like to keep going back and forth, how bout we do it via PM, rather than jacking multiple threads. Either way, let's stick a berkeleying fork in this thing. And for the record, I am absolutely, unequivocally a racist, as I truly believe that Asians are inherently superior to all other races.
Geez, what sort of whiny bitch would be so hypersensitive as to be offended by Nazis. Chill out. Nazis aren't a big deal. If you're offended by references to Nazis and Hitler, you need to chill out.
Hmm... wait, wouldn't Godwin's law dictate that poopshovel automatically looses every debate he gets into on this forum?
Ok.. Now that I am home I can comment more openly.
I work for a company that is extremely sensitive to the feelings of its employees. Offending someone's sensibilities is a very bad thing. I've gone through this before on here, but if I offend someone or if someone is offended by something on my computer screen I can be fired immediately. The don't get a box for your stuff, just get out kind of firing. I've seen it happen before.
I can be fired flat out.
That is the reason why I was offended and am offended. If the avatar stays, I won't be able to surf this forum at work(not that I really can, but breaks and lunch are OK.)
For reference this is a large multinational that is continually awarded for its ethics.. hmm..
forgot to add that in rough ecnomonic times, all companies are looking for ways to make them look like the "good guy" during redundancies.
MGAMGB wrote:ignorant wrote: Offending someone's sensibilities is a very bad thing.Aren't you the same guy that thought the biker that stripped his crying son naked and then paraded him around was grounds for father of the year? And didn't you think those of us that were offended were close-minded whiners? Here's the same solution you (and others) gave those of us that didn't want to see naked bikers: "Don't look at it and STFU." If it's such a big deal, you shouldn't looking at this site at work anyway.
Sorry bad editing on my part.. but that "offending someone's sensibilities is a very bad thing" was supposed to reflect the companies stance.. not my own.
I suck at english.

Much as it pains me to say it: of course it does. If, as a white guy, you thought you had to walk on eggs before...

+1 If your whole argument is you were worried about how your co-workers etc would react if they saw his icon then well....stop surfing the net at work.

once again I fail to comunicate my ideas effectively. ugh.

It did me. . . apparently I am an uneducated redneck racist because I do not support his socialistic views. At least that's what I was told.
As for viewing from work and those issues. . . don't look from work. Simple enough.

telling someone of my generation that is tantamount to telling us not to breathe.
I surf here because it is generally a safe place, baxter does a good job.

That's right, according to the computer, some time between primaries and now, I went in and told the election office, or somebody, that I wanted to cancel my right to vote. Just not voting wasn't good enough... I wanted to cancel my right so that even if I changed my mind and tried to vote, I couldn't. Oh, sure, the people at the office were 'sorry' but there was 'nothing they could do'. So I filed a report or whatever..
they gave me a hard time as well, they had an "address discrepancy" it took me two hours and a bunch of nasty words to election supervisors, but i did eventually exercise my right to vote, in what they called the "correct " precinct. it was a fight though, the kept encouraging me to fill out a provisional ballot, and I wasn't having it...
