Yeah...
This CL ad isn't delusional. I think it's me!
Seriously, what is wrong with me that I find this vehicle somehow desirable, and priced right?

Hardly delusional, but there is an error in the ad. It says "just one problem", but there's really two problems:
1) Needs an engine.
2) It's an automatic.
Still, a clean 2007 with a dead engine for just a grand? Somebody will snap it up.

A rusty, V6 Caprice that looks like it has been sitting for 2 decades and you want how much?!

2003 Mitsubishi Evo VIII $13,500
"I’m selling my Evo that has been sitting for a few years. Currently not running. Clean title.
The engine had a clogged injector and lost a cylinder. The engine was rebuilt and put back in but the car was never finished. When it was running, it made 780whp on a mustang dyno. Currently, as it sits, it would be classified as a project as it needs to be put back together. It's only missing a few things, intercooler piping, and a few other parts. This is an awesome starting point for someone wanting to get into a fast Evo at a great price. The chassis is solid, no accidents but has high mileage of 179k."
So -Some assembly required.
Oh - and apparently some body work too:
"The body has some minor hail damage."
Not particularly delusional, just the first I've ever heard of this:

1975 Corvette. Wheel bearing went out and caught on fire. Lots of good parts left. Interior wasn’t hurt. The engine is still holding oil. Not sure what it is worth. Make an offer
I dunno if delusional or not, but this guy is convinced he's got a jewel here.

OMG! This is too good to be true! A 1989 Maserati 430!
Surprise! It does not run. Why do I want it so badly? Look at that interior! 27k original miles!
