I made a couple threads about my powdercoating oven project and a couple of you made suggestions of where to buy the powder.  I can't find those recommendations in the thread.

Need powder.  Where should I get it?  Will they all have the same colors for the most part?

Bonus points if they have some resources for noobs, like which plastics work better for different applications.

I really like Prismatic Powders.  They have an enormous selection of powders and the site has plenty of filter options to help narrow things down.  They're also "local" to me, which probably means very far from you, unfortunately.

They have a pretty decent resources section on their site, too.

If you only need black or white, here is (what is likely) a local option.  Not sure of the cost comparison to other sources:

I haven't decided on a final color, but it's going to be some version of bronze with a lean toward charcoal.  I think I'll get a little sunken treasure too to see how it looks

I've used powder by the pound for years.  https://powderbuythepound.com/

Great selection, great service.

I've got a kit that I'm likely not gonna do anything with, if you want

You might check out Eastwoods selection. They have a bunch of colors.

I will.  I watched a couple videos that mentioned the Eastwood powders aren't the greatest, but no one said why.

Mr_Asa, I have a gun and most of the accessories, so I'll say thank you for the offer, but I think Panther would be a more logical recipient.

I haven't personally used them so I can't say. When I still had my setup, they had some colors I wanted to try but never got around to.

Columbia coatings or maybe it's powders. They have bulk powder.

You'll need to log in to post.
