Um, who uses nails anymore?

Personally most of the stuff I build it is easier and faster to use a screw or if you're doing framing, you're using air-nailers and a team of workers.

Why did he ever give that cow knocker up?

because the other guy had a shotgun.

coen brothers should have given them both cow knockers and have them fight that way.

The air powered version is called a palm nailer. I didn't see a price on this one, and it looked like a toy, but the palm nailers are~50.00 and will drive any nail into anything. And the battery doesn't run down.

hmm... I wouldn't put it at the top of my tool "need list", but I can imagine it being useful in tight spaces. But usually I use screws or an air-nailer.

+1 I have several air nailers for the small stuff and was thinking about getting a framing nailer until I saw someone using a palm nailer. Now it is the nailer I use the most.

Hmmm...that looks like a very handy item indeed. And yes, I'm talking about Nathan.

But, the palm nailer seems like it could also be handy. I am thinking about Christmas gifts for Chuck...do you guys have any imput on brands you like? Use could be anything from framing a window to replacing the roof on the garage.
