So, anyone pulling any good pranks today?
I'm doing an official one at the brewery. We're having a special product release:
Z's Hipster Butter
Breakfast Spread and Mustache Conditioner
All Natural! Artisinal! Hand Crafted!
Rich with the finest hop oils and pure beer proteins.

(This is what we refer to as trub. It is the sludge that drops to the bottom of a tank of beer during conditioning. This is from a tank of IPA, so it's mostly a slurry of hops and yeast.)
You know, I would buy it and try it as a novelty. I know how nasty beer remnants can be, but I do love hops.

I'm REALLY not a fan of April Fools pranks. I read an article that Google had a Gmail "mic drop" animation for emails that backfired on them.
That said, on the drive into work I thought it would be fun to announce a new SCCA program on our Facebook pages. Drifting! DRFT I and DRFT II depending on level of car prep, etc. See how many youngun's fell for it.
I was sending an email to my loan officer (closing on a house) and almost accidentally hit the "mic drop"... ![](/media/img/icons/smilies/googly-18.png)
It's a tough day to launch new products.

In reply to Keith Tanner:
That'll be very useful when people keep asking when one will be done with the timing belt change...

In reply to Beer Baron:
That E36 M3 is nasty. Someone is gonna buy it lol.
Not April fool's but I recently heard about a guy that was introducing his new girlfriend to his mom. He told his gf that his mom was deaf, so speak loud and slow. He told his mom the gf was mentally handicapped.

Me either. It wouldn't be so bad if they were clever or funny, but most of them are not.
The best ones are those that tread the line. You're pretty sure it's a joke, but maaaybe not. That doubt is what makes it work.

Sorta like an actual production timing belt/beer opener/shuriken hybrid?
Something like that. Especially if you can actually put it in your cart on the website.

because you and i know its not a real thing, but someone, somewhere, is looking for where to buy it
I may or may not have helped fill my mother's Xterra with balloons. Not in the traditional spirit of April fools tricks but it was fun.

It just needs grub screws on the cam lobes to lock them in to place.

Ok, i know its a joke. But i look at that, think about it, and i wonder if a bit of square stock would keep the lobes in place....

so wait, IS it actually a real, order-able thing?

Can't even have a simple prank thread without a potential flounder? C'mon....

That is so not a flounder!!
CNN covered it as fact today, which makes it even more hilarious.

But that would lock the lobes into a specific angle. You want to be able to customize the separation angle.

so really the rod needs to be a piece of all-thread and then tap the holes in the lobe so the angle is adjustable, then put a jam nut on each lobe to keep it form moving
There is an adult website, a hub if you may, for porn. Maybe it's called Porn Hub. They did something hilarious. It's safe-ish (compared to their normal content.)
