Sheep Dog is a decent peanut butter whiskey, I think they give money to animal shelters too with every purchase.

Ok, so I messaged Kurvball and they sent me this. It sounds like it's hopeful but the website in question is apparently not totally functional yet.
I don't know whether to thank you or curse you for reaching out to them. Liquor store is right next to the grocery store so I'll have them look and or order this week when I go shopping. Because the state owned liquor stores use a state run website that is, gasp, down again.

Hopefully they can get it for you, and definitely try it in an Old Fashioned when you get it.

Tried today. States website is backup but when I get to insert payment methods it empties the cart. So I went to the liquor store.
"The state is dealing with a new computer system, we can't even reorder our own inventory let alone get stuff for customers special"
SSomeday. Only 3.5 hours to total wine in Maryland, might be worth the trip. I miss that store.
I don't get it. I got a small bottle for free and I did not enjoy it straight or on ice. Are you supposed to mix it with something? Cook with it? Luckily I had some Four Roses to cleanse my palate.

I like it specifically in Old Fashioneds.
There's a cheap Master of Mixes mix that's fine for this level of whiskey too

Everything about Pennsylvania sucks. The weather, the people, the liquor and food laws, the state being until recently the exclusive distributor of alcohol, the speed limits, roads, and bridges, everything.
But weirdly enough I was telling the wife what happened when she got home from work, and she was able to put through an order for a bottle through the website. So who knows, maybe my ad blocker is breaking their checkout, or maybe it's more like us being in the same car with the same phone on the same plan and her having service and me not.
Will update when it comes in. I'm just curious to try it is all, I like weird liquors that aren't fruit or candy flavored, and it should look nice next to my bottle of Ocean aged bourbon.
So UPS truck warm, it smells almost like bacon vodka and smoke. There's a sweet note that really lingers drinking out of the bottle. Not the worst thing I've ever drank. I suspect ice and bitters will help.
This is so going in a rib sauce though.

I haven't tried it warm at all, but old Fashioned's are spectacular with it. I never had an one and thought it needed BBQ flavor, but man......I'm addicted
