I haven't been going to many shows, but a good friend got us tickets to see one of our favorite semi-local bands who are touring after a hiatus: The Briefs, from Seattle.
It was a fantastic show; there were four bands, which I generally regard as one or two too many, but they were all really good, and I'm glad we didn't miss the openers like we'd half intended to.
Jumped up and down, bounced off a bunch of other folks, lost my glasses in the pit (I know, I know, why was I wearing them?), found someone else's glasses in the pit (weird moment of "I found my glasses, why can't I see?"), found my own glasses, not too mangled... Good stuff.
Looks like they're pretty much hitting California and the UK this time, but if they happen to come to where you are, I highly recommend them!
