I need one of these too for my Galaxie. I am running out of covered places to store cars which is a big problem in MO.
I always hear from the concours crowd that car covers should never be used outdoors, but companies keep trying to sell us the myth that it's a good idea.
I don't have any choice. No garage, under pine trees right next to salt water. 
Would a cheapie garage-tent for the car be an option, something like this?
No way.

I used to live on the other side of the bridge but there was a parking garage. This ten year old car has zero rust, too.
I have a Covercraft custom cover for the M3 and it's extremely nice. I've used it outdoors with no problems. It breathes, sheds rain, and feels like it will last a long time. Not the cheapest $345 or so---but it's a high quality product that I anticipate using for years:

Ugh, expensive. I'll probably go with the Noah Block-It model. About $275.00 shipped including a few accessories. Thanks, Joe.
