With all this talk about saws, this I will share

I am upset, these used to have a $100 bounty.  Now it is only $50.  No longer worth buying these for $50 I guess.

Damn mine is a dewalt.  And it was free and is basically useless.  I used it once to dado some shelf assemblies, probably 14 years ago and it's been collecting dust since.  I'd kill it for $50

I inherited one of those from my dad when he passed in 2001, but after I got my miter saw, I never really used it, so I sold it years ago. Ah, well..

The one I inherited from dad when he passed in 1998 is a Montgomery Ward model. He got it in the late 60's, maybe 68 or 69. Grew up using it. It doesn't have a full guard over the blade and has router attachments on the side. Dad never really used the router part of it. I've only used it a couple times since I've had it. Not really convenient to use, easier to just use a chop saw or hand circular saw and bring it closer to where you're working. Been considering putting casters on it so I can move it out of the garage to use. Makes a good work bench though. Can't find the data plate easily, will have to check it more thoroughly later when I have more time.

Well, there's $50 in my basement.  Less whatever it takes to get rid of the hulk that remains.

Built at least 3 or 4 workbenches with that since about 1987.
