looks like someone said "berk your berkin solar". I dont think its gonna end well.also this shows one of my gripes with it, having a ton of holes drilled into my roof.
That's one of the reasons we decided against solar. Our roof was less than a year old. Then we recently learned that half of the homeowner insurance providers in Florida won't cover your house if there's solar panels on the roof.
Edit for a photo:
Huge eastern lubber grasshopper I saw while installing the tonneau cover on the Maverick today. Very pretty coloration!

I love the idea. But I'm not wealthy enough or enthusiastic enough to go for it yet; it will never pay off in my home at current prices. Additionally, many of the companies seem to be shady fly-by-night operations, at least around me.
I think we are at the Mitsubishi iMiEV stage. We have the proof of concept, the Tesla option is decent if you can afford it, and in 15 years it is going to be commonplace and everyone will (or should) be considering it for a new build. But for now, it just isn't there yet for the average consumer.
Unrelated, this is the 40 year old coffee maker I just got. And now it's not working. Currently taking it apart to try to figure out why.
Mom passed a month ago so my 5 brothers and I are clearing out the 3 BR ranch we grew up in; found some pictures.
Dad. Car on the right looks to be '53 or so, as Dad was born in 1932 he's about 22 here. Married at 18, he had 3 kids by this time! (7 total). He passed two years ago from Alzheimers.
Took a 10 hour drive for a JY crawl in Kansas.
Silas from Adventures Made From Scratch has a great yard, but it isn't open to the public.
I felt lucky to get a chance to wander the yard, take a ton of photos, and even buy a few things. And I will have to take the 10 hour one way trip again soon, as I bought something pretty cool that we didn't have room for.
My daughter while eating a cupcake. Doing her best to be the Mona Lisa... she has no idea who or what the Mona Lisa is.
