COPs is still a great show I especially love it when they go to cities I am familiar with. .
One episode of COPs a few years ago featured a car chase in Columbia, SC and they busted the guy about two blocks from an apartment I used to live in. I could see the roof of the house in the background. I guess that's my 15 minutes of fame.

Dude, I hate to be the one to break it to you, but... Those people aren't real. Sorry, man.
Damn. And here I was living vicariously though them.
man, I completely forgot about COPS.
I have seen my previous apartment on an episode (while I lived there) and think I even saw the aftermath of that same televised chase live in person a few months before it aired. usually I'd get a solid self-esteem boost after catching some COPS action - either that or I get depressed contemplating the depraved state in which many people operate.
but I don't think that show is in the same realm as the other fluff crap.
what about 'Elimination Island' or 'FUZZ'? those shows kick ass!
either way, after Feb 17 I don't have to worry about TV and can finally take off my foil hat. it chafes so bad...
