I'm just glad I'm not the only one who appreciates fine fast food.

If you haven't tried their Cinnabon Delights, don't. You will be hooked, and you will get diabetes.

The sad truth is that such a thing would sell like hotcakes if they put it on the menu

I want one.

I have it from a very reliable source that Dixon was hungry after giving interviews about the pole position until after 9pm and they had called around and couldnt find any restaurants open. So he and Dario took a rental car from the coach lot to the Taco Bell. When approached while in the drive-thru lane, he just couldnt get the window closed in time. Purely a random event but the Indy police essentially closed down that part of town until the punks were arrested.

And after eating the catered food from IMS for two days while guests of Ganassi during qualifying, I dont blame them for wanting something different.

I think what we're really saying here is that Taco Bell is more dangerous than driving an Indycar, being it robbed by gunpoint or the actual consumption.

I ate several while they existed. Same with the KFC double down. The problem is, I want KFC flavor chicken on this, not taco bell flavor chicken.

I find the TH grilled burritos make great road food. Hot, filling, kinda crunchy, and you can eat them with one hand. I learned early on not to "supreme" anything tho. Just means they squirt that fake sour cream on it. McD's only gets my business on the road, too. Their gut bomb breakfast biscuits are also one-handers that will last 3/4 of a day. Other than that, I avoid fast food entirely. The salt assault alone is enough to shrivel your liver.

I'd take 99 cent tacos and egg rolls over pretty much any Taco Bell food.

As to the original subject, if they'd went a little further in the opposite direction they could've gone to the other taco bell and probably not have gotten robbed.

Put any chicken in the microwave and it comes out with a very KFC-like flavor. Seriously.

While I love Taco Hell, White Castle, Jack in the Box, etc., KFC is horrible. Just a disgrace to fried chicken. When Browns closed in our town, we had to do without fried chicken for about 3 years until Popeyes moved in.

I can't do McD on the road. I'll be stopping every 45 minutes and puking out the bottom.

Agreed. Refuse to eat KyFry. Popeyes for us.... spicy with some red beans and rice with hot sauce.... oh yeah.

Its just... grease. That is all it is. I guess it used to be pretty good, according to my mom (who was raised by a Kentucky woman who made the worlds best fried chicken)--at least back in the early 80's in Kentucky.

kyfry wasn't bad when I was a kid. Somewhere in the early 90's it just got so greasy that it gave you the runs after eating.

So what is TB's plan? How fast can they get a sticker on the car? I would think the marketing upside is huge.

Well they've made at least one sale off of the incident and I am already regretting my decision. Putting the over/under on time until I will be parked on toilet for rest of day at 1.5 hours. I'd bet the under.

I suspect it's all part of a new marketing plan to increase perceived authenticity of the dining experience. "Banditos! Ay caramba!"

Looks like it's getting dangerous to buy tacos in general. First robbery by plain-jane muggers and now murder by a clown with blade-gloves.

Interesting. It has the opposite effect on me, at least the breakfast biscuits do. I'm usually plugged up for at least 24 hours.

Fast food has never caused me any kind of gastrointestinal distress. I don't know if that's a good thing or a bad thing.
