My local stores have been barren for the last several weeks. Last time I was in Meijer, I suspect they were down to under 20 regular hot wheels cars in the individual blister packs.

I usually find the largest selection at Dollar Generals and Family Dollars, however they typically always have the same selection and don't turnover inventory often. Walmart usually has a smaller selection but I have a better chance of finding different cars since they turnover inventory more often.
I stopped at a brand new Dollar General the other day and while the pegs were so full, cars were literally falling on the floor, they were all from an older case that I already had everything I wanted.

I may have to wander in to one of them sometime when I'm out running errands. This morning, Meijer was completely out of individual hot wheels.
I've had the best luck at Dollar Tree or Wegmans lately. Walmart, Target have been hit or miss.
Kroger (grocery store) is another place that usually surprises with consistent selection.

Not a HotWheels but the same scale. True Scale Miniatures Huracan GT3 (not my photo) that I picked up for 20 bucks off Amazon since nobody has bothered to issue even a decent slot car in my usual 1/24 scale.
Pretty cool, I got to chat with him for quite a while at SEMA one year.

Random Dollar General has been where I've found everyone I've got. I'm still finding cars that have "New for 2022" on the card in DG's.
Found another coupe clip at another DG today. Along with another Porsche 911 GT3 that says "New for 2022" on the card.
I've seen new for 22 and new for 23 both all over the place.
Anyone interested in a Stubby Bob?
