Trying an experiment - trying to refresh a 63 triumph tr4 on a $1500 budget. Anyone got recommendations where to post it?

I picked it up in December on the cheap. Been in the same family the last 30 years. Hasn't been started in 10 years. Pretty complete. Original paint. One bad rocker, one lower fender that's a little cheesy. The challenge is wheels/tires and interior. I'm thinking leave it gutted as a auto x or racer look...Started disassembly today.

Readers rides is a bit clunky to try and document a build. Only one pic per update makes showing certain things difficult and if you have a jackass co-worker who likes to click the mark as sold button everything dissapears instantly

My build thread is on the awesome UK forum retrorides.proboards.com and Triumph TR4 would fit in very nicely there. Google is kind to RR build threads as well. I show up on most Fiat 850 searches.

Retro Rides is a great site, though I haven't logged on in ages. They're like a UK version of us, (no wonder your Fiat goes down well over there.)

Part of the fun of a build thread is the interaction between people and ideas. Sadly the classicmotorsports forum does not have enough traffic to keep it engaging. One post every 19 hours just isn't enough.

I liked it a LOT better when the Classic Motorsports forum was part of the GRM forum.

But maybe with a more interesting running post that gets updated regularly, CMS would get more posts.

blogger.com works great, is free, lets you upload all the pics you want, etc.

You'll need to log in to post.
