OK, I think our Canadian friends are holding out on us!
I know this stuff is old, but there couldn't possibly be funnier GRM based stuff out there!
Enjoy!

Yeah the show contains grassroots engineering in every episode
I can't find it now but his mid-engined car build is pretty good too.
Edit: Whoo found it! And lots more!

I think my favorite was his refrigerator cold water dispenser.
(it was a hose routed through the freezer).
I think his show used to be on PBS...
That show was great. Uses for the Handyman's Secret Weapon abound. I like the one where he had to join duct work together and was looking for something to join duct work... He got some package tape from the wife.
I've seen the show here in Delaware for years. The local PBS station carries it.
My favorite episode was when he changed the headlight in his van, using nothing but an axe and duct tape.
Keep your stick on the ice.
Edit: (DRAT! ...a few seconds too late.)
I know I've linked to red before. Yup, here it is. And here is the video that I linked to.

That was from an episode of Smith and Smith, a variety show with him and his wife that was on the local station. He lived down the road from us and when I was a teen, my girlfriend used to babysit his kids. That's my Red Green claim to fame
I met Red Green at an outdoor sportsman's show here several years ago. PBS used to show RG a few years ago.
I met him back in 1995 or so. I'm not sure he's actually playing a part - I think that's actually what he's like, just amped up a bit. I used to watch Smith and Smith way back when too.
Now you guys have me on YouTube. Can any non-Canadians identify the cars in the Hummer build?

words to live by.
fwiw, I never saw Red-Green until I lived in South Dakota...I think it is a northern thing...
I've never seen it on tv around here but remember watching it as a kid often at my grandparents in WI.
Red Green has been our local PBS station here in MS off and on for years. I think he appeals to the redneck in everyone.
Red used to be on Public TV in Atlanta Metro, but I can't recall whether it was the state network or the little Atlanta station. Great stuff.
