Anybody seen it yet? Thoughts?
I think it's a good show. I like it.
I think people would get bored with it though, he barrels through a lot of history and information.
Haven't seen the show yet, but I like Alain DeCadenet. It's refreshing to hear someone speak with knowlege on any subject without condescention to differing points of view and without the self imposed drama of way too many shows today.

I only saw the first episode, but have the second recorded. I liked it, but was a little bored with all the history stuff. So far I liked his old show better.

I agree.
I've seen two episodes. The motorcycle one was fairly boring with mostly him driving a few Broughs back and forth along a short stretch of the Brooklands track. I loved the "new" Norton Manx's the guys were building,. but I never heard a price mentioned.
Yep, on Velocity. I caught the motorcycle episode. I had my DVR set to record the series but there must have been a conflict because thats the only one I have.
I liked the older bikes in the beginning, Kind of got bored during the triumph factory portion of the show and was fiddling with my phone. Ill definately keep watching though, I like it.
I've only watched the first episode with one of my all-time favorite grand prix cars . . . Lancia-Ferrari D50. The noise that thing makes
I like Alan, but was bored all of the talk of replicas and restoration talk. Give me the history and drive the wheels off of it . . . (sorta like his old show, Victory by Design).
1 - this is the kind of programing Speed should be doing.
2 - Damn I wish I could Velocity with my Dish package

Now that was a show.
In reply to spitfirebill:
The scenery, the history and most importantly, the amount time they took to actually SHOW the car driving about make awesome noises . . . I would love to have Alan's job on that show. I would fail on delivering the history lesson, but have a blast trolling about those scenic places in some those cars.
