Does it exist?

Not honda-tech.com

Not clubintegra.com

Not team-intega.net

Not acuraworld.com

They all have more rice than any 10 sushi joints.

Is it just the nature of the beast?

I used to go here: www.hybrids.jp for rice free Honda content. Someone set up a Facebook group and most of the regulars moved there. It close to dead now.

Stay here. Lots of Honda folks that can answer almost anything with or without rice :)

Back in the day I had good luck with www.tsxclub.com , but I haven't been active there in a few years.

An absolutely mint Integra GS-R passed me yesterday and I was reminded how awesome that platform was and how much it sucks that they didn't keep with it.

That's a nice car, and not at all like the one I'm about to fly-n-buy! LOL

I'm getting a 2nd gen (DA? DB?) LS sedan in (boring) Honey Beige.

The upside is that:

a) it's a one owner car

b) 113k miles (and the 120k service has already been done, at 103k)

c) it has a clutch (unusual for the sedan version, from what I can tell)

d) it has never been serviced anywhere but Acura of Bellevue

e) it's $2500

D-series.org is fairly decent. Honestly all the Honda boards require you to wade through tons of garbage to get to the good stuff.

I've been noticing that the well over the speed limit weaving through freeway traffic like you're a race car driver has been populated of late by early model TSX owners.  The price point must be pretty close to the floor now.  Time to buy before they get destroyed?

It's not even ricers.  Just the usual Accord/Altima drivers. indecision

Here's what I've learned about Honda Tech.  Use Google to search for your query, it will take you to Honda Tech 99.9% of the time.  Click "see more results" and all the threads somewhat related to your topic will show up.  About 1/2 will be helpful, most will eventually get to "search", so see above.  As with most 'fanboi" pages - looking at you VW Vortex - the tech sections seem to be the most helpful, and the older the car, the more helpful the folks.  I only joined to see pictures and have posted maybe twice.

Strangely enough, I was just thinking about those Realtime racing Integras the other day. Where are they now? Are any running in vintage racing?

I was told that TSXs suck and I should not like them (even though I do).

Really, what would be nice is if the RSX didn't have the shape and ergonomics of a minivan.

Who told you that?  TSXs are great dailies.  And passable race cars, too, based on RealTime's experience.

TSXs are also excellent engine donors.  The TSX motor I have in my 89 Civic is excellent.  With only an intake, header, exhaust and tune it is putting 205whp and 185wtq while keeping a stock 7k redline. With an oil pump, intake manifold and throttle body it would be up another 1000+ rpm and 30 hp on top.

I never had issues with team-integra, they had comprehensive DIY articles that have helped me with my car and the forums were a great source of info. It probably helps that I've been able to meet several forum members over the years that have helped me with my car. Honda-tech seems a lot better now, I guess the main issue is there is so much info, so if you ask something chances are it has been covered before. Always found it better than club-integra.

But I think a lot of the forums have changed due to everything moving on fecesbook, with a few of the hardcore members still posting and helping others out, the atmopshere is a lot different from the heyday. B

That was because RealTime's only other option was the RSX. double wishbone wins over macstrut and bastadrized rear suspension that doesn't work every time.... even if they had to go to a bigger car with 4 doors. The RSX was so bad, they went BACK to the Integra for a year before the TSX came through.

I don't see what difference it makes when the suspension barely moves to begin with.

Most Acura forums are dedicated to specific models.  They are also a bit cliquish and most sites are poorly done.  These sites usually go through phases.  There's AcuraClub if you want a general Acura forum, and there are also city-focused communities, but they're much smaller.

You'll need to log in to post.
