I have been a fan of Chef Carl for years on Radio, TV and social media and though I hadn’t gotten around to meeting him in person I’d talked several times on line and he was just the funniest, nicest, most honest person you could find. This really, really sucks.

Damn what happened? Carl liked a couple of my comments on his instagram but that's the closest I ever got to interacting with him, he was definitely somebody that I enjoyed knowing was in the world though.
Edit: looks like suspected heart attack, honestly can't say I'm surprised. The man lived hard.
Triple G is supposed to be having a tribute to him tonight.

I’m kicking myself for never stopping in his restaurant, I pass it constantly. I never met him but I really enjoyed following him on line and we messaged back and forth on places for lunch, barbecue, and movies and he was like talking to friends. Everyone seems to say the same thing. He seemed to somehow be on everyone’s podcast, restaurant, and house. He packed a lot into his time.

Matt Farah posted the Carl Ruins Everything episode of Watch and Listen onto his main channel as a tribute with a brief message at the beginning. That episode is how I found out about Carl and started following him.
I had hoped to visit his restaurant too at some point but as you can guess I'm not in New York very often.
Last night’s Triple G was really funny.
