Veteran actor David McCallum, most famous for playing medical examiner Dr. Donald 'Ducky' Mallard on the hit TV show "NCIS," is dead.
David died Monday at New York Presbyterian Hospital, the result of natural causes ... according to a statement from CBS.

Never saw NCIS, but was a big fan of Man From U.N.C.L.E. Also, the movie The Great Escape.

I used to take my dad's putter and tape a toilet paper tube onto it for a scope to make Napoleon Solo's pistol rifle and play Spy vs Spy.
David McCallum was also a classical musician / composer and wrote a number of instrumental pieces, among other things.
