I dunno, after reading this http://www.auto-venus.com/en/save-your-aggression-for-the-field/219/ I remember merging onto the 401 last summer during busy rush hour, and some silly bitch repeatedly brake checking me because she didn't like me merging in behind her.

Can't really recall any other experience with road-raging female drivers, other than getting the finger after honking at one who was texting after the light turned green.

I know that my wife can get her rage on if things aren't going well that day and then there are idiots present on her commute home.

I have to admit, I have one filthy mouth with the windows rolled up. And berkeleytards leave me mad for ages afterwards. But I've never really been tempted to chase someone down and beat them to death.

I had an irate female come up behind me at well over the speed limit (I was in the middle lane of a 3-lane highway doing the speed limit) and start weaving between the three lanes to get by. After much honking, swearing, and bird-flipping, she finally got by by passing on the shoulder. She then swerved to my lane and started brake checking me (dodo in the left lane finally got in behind me after being passed on the shoulder).

So yeah, females road rage, and hardcore. Honestly, they worse than the dudes. Guys will yell or say f-u and then be done, the girls tend to keep it going for miles and miles.

Holy crap, I have a relative with a lightswitch temper. She has gotten out of her car on multiple occasions to yell at pedestrians and other drivers, some of which have resulted in physical altercations. I've never ridden with anyone with a worse case of road rage.

My worst road rage altercation was with a female driver. Nearly sideswiped me (on purpose) when I tried to merge into her lane. Then she gave me the bird through her sunroof and tried to block me from going on the on ramp. She REALLY didn't like it when I took the inside on the on ramp to overtake her. A few miles later she pulled in front of me diagonally to block and hopped out of her car, came to my car and took a swing at me THREE different times!

That being said, men show aggression in traffic way more often than women in my experience.

What I meant to say was... This. This is exactly what I do. My wife says I have road rage, maybe I do but its only verbal.

I actually got out of my car once, but I had good reason.

I was driving my civic to school one day, and some mouthbreather nearly t-boned me doing a lane change. I had to SLAM on my brakes as hard as I could to avoid dieing. Yes, I got out of the vehicle and banged on his window a couple of times while yelling. I think that is pretty reasonable considering he came about a tenth of a second away from ending my life.

In the last year, the only act of "road rage" I can remember was flipping off the driver of the mint-colored Prius who failed to yield after looking in my direction and nearly sideswiped me.

I've never worried about anybody else road-raging on me. Helps to drive a big heavy pickup that was made back when bumpers were 1/8" steel and body panels weren't made from recycled pop cans.

I don't road rage anymore. Riding a motorcycle for years, and having who knows how many close calls, has taught me a lot of patience.

If people road rage on me that's different, but I generally don't get all worked up over getting cut off etc. With as much as this crap happens while on a bike it would a daily occurrence.

I do see more bullE36 M3 behavior on the road from guys, but I have seen women get pretty road rage-y as well. They're also more likely to not be paying attention at all while driving...in my experience. Which may be inaccurate. So totally flame the hell out of me

I remember an instance- I had to slow to allow some merging traffic coming in from the left lane- multiple cars merging, so there wasn't any reasonable space for me to go faster. But the woman behind me not only honked, she then weaved to the right, honked and gestured at me. She was quite mad that I was being "nice". Probably cost us all of 5 seconds of our journey to work.

Currently, i would say that the number of bober-weaver drivers in SE MI is equally distributed between men and women. Both like to miss the signs telling you that their exit is coming up as well. While they are really really obvious, and quite infuriating, their real numbers seem to be 1-3 per 100.

Almost wish I had a big stinking truck with a real metal bumper on them so if anyone wants to mix it up, lets do it because you will lose.

I'm with Cotton on this one, drivers just scare me and I honestly don't know if some people are out of control with unintended acceleration. My favorite is people who try and drive 85mph through 65mph traffic, there ain't no where to go.

I haven't seen too much female road rage but the honest to god fastest driver here in the bay area is a woman driving either a VW or Volvo doing 95mph down the freeway oblivious to the speed they are driving.

I was driving down a small 2 lane road that was under some construction. The speed limit was clearly marked at 35 MPH. This lady pulled out in front of me in her Volvo wagon and proceded to travel at 15, yes FIFTEEN miles per hour for the rest of the 3/4 mile trip. I was driving a little close and pointing at the speed limit signs and waiving my arms. We both turned onto the highway and I went around her and proceded on my way. Next thing I know I har a horn beeping and this crazy chick is ON MY ASS flashing her lights and laying on her horn. I get over to let her pass, she stays on my ass. I drop a gear and floor it. She stays with me, I had a POS at the time. She follows me into a gas station, pulls up next to me and starts chewing me out.

She said, "Why were you on my ass back there?!"

I said, "Can you not read the mother f-ing speed limit signs? It says 35, not 15 you moron!"

Then she said, and I'll never forget it, "Have you heard of the Texas Concealed Handgun law?!"

I said, "Are you threatening to shoot me you crazy bitch?!" Then she sped off. That's Austin, TX for ya...

I don't know any female road-ragers and I don't road-rage myself. And aggression isn't good on the road, decisiveness is. My mom is probably the closest to a road-rager in my family, she likes to yell at shiny happy person drivers, as if they'll see the error of their ways...

And I'd rather have my hootus and bits thought of as "imposing" than "adorable" anyways

I have exposed metal bumpers (well, tubular structural components, really) on the Samurai and most drivers do give you some more room, but some will play chicken and hold out even when that metal is less than a foot from their face.

I am much calmer now than I was years ago. BUT, the cell phone talker creeping down the road so he (or she) is safe drives me up the wall. Talk or drive, but not both.

I've had three run-ins with women. Two just involved them giving me the finger. One of those didn't like my Clemson sticker and she almost wrecked on I-75 trying to flip me off. That was a carload of sorority bitches from UGA. The worst one followed me into a gas station after she cut ME off and after she tried to re-aim her rear view mirror to shine my headlights back into my eyes. This woman had two small kids in her back seat and their eyes were big as saucers after I got through chewing her out. She treatened to go home and get her husbnad. I said..fine..He needs to know you're an idiot.
