In reply to David S. Wallens :
I was originally thinking Friday evening during the drags, since noise certainly wouldn’t be an issue, but with Chris fielding a vehicle Saturday works just as well. Maybe we can find some shade under the stands with nearby electric?
Oh and I’m planning on bringing my small(ish) bass rig, so you’re welcome to play through it if you don’t want to drag your amp along.
I'm sorry to say that there is zero chance of me making the challenge this year. I've been so slammed by life that I haven't had a chance to work on anything
In reply to Antihero :
No worries. Chris & I can rock out, and hopefully other people will join in too.

Poopy is a real guitarist, though. I once paid money to see him play.
Aaaaaaw. Thanks buddy. My band maties actually live in Gainesville. Mike will most assuredly come hang by the pool, so Hot Graves unplugged is a possibility. “Dead Wizard Mountain” is pretty hilarious sung in a Garth Brooks kinda way.
Man, I wish I could be there for this. I've always wanted to do this at the Challenge.

Aren’t you guys playing Mobile the weekend before the Challenge? I’m planning on being there!
In reply to Pete Gossett :
That’s AWESOME!!! I’m in a “situation” which prevents me from going on the road right now, but hug them hotboiz from Uncle Whitey. Honestly, I’m not sure I’m still in the band, but I’ve gotten no word to the contrary lolz. Regardless, expect to see Mike and maybe the rest of thee dvdes at the hotel pool if you’re at the Challenge!
In reply to poopshovel again :
Well that sucks, but hopefully they’ll spot me in my GRM swag.
They are not at all car dudes, but Mike is aware of the Challenge for sure. He’s come out every year we’ve been down. Buy them boys a beer and tell them they’re from Whitey, if you’d be so kind, and I’ll return the favor exponentially at the challenge if you’re there <3 It’d be funny.
In reply to poopshovel again :
Any chance of you bringing a guitar & amp? So far it’s just Chris & I on drums/bass, with David sitting in on bass whenever he can sneak away for a bit.
I threw a bass, guitar and small amp into the car.
In reply to David S. Wallens :
Thanks David! I’m so glad to got to join us for a bit before they turned out the lights.
Totally. That was a few minutes of fun. Thank you, thank you.
Also, you two sounded terrific.
