So I have decided to take the wife on a short trip down rt66. Problem is I find nothing online showing a map of it. I'd actually prefer a GPS enabled android app but even an option to put it in a garmin would be good. Hell I'd settle for a paper map!
I just can't seem to find anything :(

Technically, much of Rt 66 no longer exists. Replaced by interstate, or eliminated.

Modern maps won't show much.

You need a vintage tour guide book of ghost towns.

This is near my in-laws. Good old FRIED chicken like the old days. Heart patients need not apply.

You have to go off of old Rt 66 maps and make your own modern map. There are a lot of sections through IL, MO, KS, OK, and TX still around, but once you hit New Mexico and Arizona, there are very few places that still exist.

I know for a fact through Illinois, it's mostly a state road. It used to be four lane divided before the interstate and afterwards they took out entire sections of the other two lanes. Some spots are still around and used as frontage roads or has just been left there and overgrown with weeds.
