As the title suggests, I pulled the plugs on my 06 Scion that I bought last year and came across rust on the cylinder 1 spark plug. I'm led to believe the car sat for awhile, given the wipers had dry rotted and molded themselves to the curvature of the windshield. Would this be from condensation or something more concerning?
Water in the plug wells? If it is COP style ignition, the boots can dry out and crack, leading to water and dirt getting into the plug wells.

No water in the plug wells, rubber gasket around coil pack looked decent. But may be worth swapping those out, given they're rubber and 13 years old.

I'd take that as a sign of it sitting for a chunk of time. Given the plug location, any water should have been cooked off soon after the engine hit operating temp. As to where the water came from, no idea.

If it went through “recon” or was fully detailed, someone prob cleaned under the hood with a pressure washer and degreaser.
That’s water above the sealing surface, not below. So I’d say not concerning.

Good call. That's what I'd think as well.
Thanks for the help folks. Side note, if anyone has a line on cheap 4x100 wheels and tires let me know. My tires are super sketchy.
