I love reading the comments on vids like that. Bunch of morons that are driving their mom's Delta 88 but say they have a [insert rice mobile here] with 500 w.h.p.
There's a couple turbo saturns around here... i would LOVE to build one, just to be another automotive equivalent of the Spanish Inquisition.
Here's the full version of that last clip. It's pure gold.

That dude was one of the big contributors to Turbo Saturns.net (TSN), the only Saturn forum that didn't suck back in the day. I think his name was Mike. He even admitted that the Supra wasn't really trying to keep up, he just posted the video as a joke.
That car really was damn quick, though.

Hah, not trying to keep up and still putting bus lengths on the saturn. I guess next step is to leave it in neutral?
I like the 1st gen dohc saturn sedans a lot.

Did they ever call him "Mouse?" There's a guy that works at Phoenix Tuning that has extensive turbo saturn background.
But now, this begs the question... What is more sleeper-ish? A turbo saturn, or a turbo Escort? (Videos to follow tonite)
I wish both the Supra and Saturn drivers would have accidentally ran into a wall and died in a prolonged and fiery manner.
That doesn't belong on surface streets.

As long as they don't take anyone else with them, I'm ok with that!

"That, and not buying a Tempo. Tempos really suck." Jay Lamm, Grassroots Motorsports, Feb 09.

I've thought about supercharging my SW2. It has no AC, and a SC would fit perfectly where the AC compressor is supposed to go. Might even be able to do so on a Challenge friendly budget. But from reading around Sixthsphere.com, it seems you have to make a choice - a reliable Saturn, or a Saturn with forced induction. I have no immediate plans to pursue this - a lack of play money is the major factor - but I haven't written off the idea entirely...
Here's some track video for you - my 96 SL2 in a NASA time trial at the Carlisle sport compact show. The only mod was an intake I threw on just before leaving home, since we were supposed to take my friend's car that died the day before the show.
