I scored this:
A Brand new fuel tank for a 90's Pontiac Sunfire... for $10!
Do I have a Sunfire? No. But I think it might be the right size for my Ratrod project... and by 'project' I mean the pile of random parts I am collecting in the garage in hopes of them congealing into functioning hot rod, to get around SWMBO's decree.
She said "no more CARS", she didn't say anything about PARTS

1926 chevy cowl
1938 buick bench seat
1963 chevy dash
50's ford steering colum
1942 Packard grill shell
283 SBC v8
T-5 speed
1966 VW front suspension
And a stash of wood that my grandfather had before he had his stroke. My plan is to build something along these lines:
