Just came from tire testing at a well-known manufacturer's proving grounds, where what did we see? Two heavily camouflaged NSX, ripping around the road course. We were forbidden to take photos (it's an honour system, we easily could have snapped some shots, particularly when I ran to the loo and one had pulled in in front of me for a pit stop (guess we both pitted together....) It sounded really, really good. Great to see it's actually running. That's got to be one of the most unveiled concept cars at any auto show ever...

Of the car or the potty break? I could go either way.
So Honda/Acura is finally putting that together? I thought the NSX's return was just a rumor that got put down years ago. Is it supposed to compete with the Lexus?
That means you got past the second gate up there... wish I could, that's got to be one helluva playground.
Yep, did some autocross, some wet braking and played on the wet track, while some prototypes and camo'd stuff was on the big road course.
Last time I was there was about 6, 7 years ago. Very nice facility.
Yeah, I love the old ones - the Zanardi ones with pop-up headlights. New ones look like a Ferrari berkeleyed a Fisker.
And got the worst of each. Sorry, I'm not a fan of the newer supercars; to me the last good looking Ferrari supercar was the F40. Lamborghini's only pretty one was the Miura. Yes the original NSX is a good lookin' thing and is on my bucket list, along with a Lotus Esprit.
