I've come into some construction pieces that are relatively high value. Selling them locally is likely to be unsuccessful - just not a large enough market.
I thought about listing them on eBay, but even that might not be great. I need someplace where a buyer can compare the new prices for these items against what I intended to sell them for.
For instance, my item new (you can still find it for sale new) would cost $200 - but I'll take $100. On ebay, against lots of other sellers trying similar strategies, I'd have to charge $50 or less.
...but on Amazon, where everything is new, and my stuff is new, it would look like a steal.
Has anyone sold anything (that you might normally find on ebay, marketplace, or craigslist) on Amazon?
