I even have a few dressy sets that I can wear with a suit or tux.

This is all I wear with a suit or tux. Of course, I haven't worn a tux since my brothers wedding and would be happy if I never do again, but I digress. For dressy ones, get the buttons hole ones and have buttons sewn into your waist band.

I have a set of red satin suspenders I wore with this. They were awesome. I thought the old guard of the SCCA was going to have heart failure when we walked into the year-end banquet dress like this. Something about us not taking the awards presentation seriously.

Fortunately, we had them outnumbered. That was the most fun I've ever had at an SCCA banquet.

I spend as little time in an office as possible but still need to look like I do. No red suspenders either.

"See! I told you this would happen if we let those Lemons weirdos race in the SCCA!"

It was their own fault. Someone asked how dressy it was going to be. The response was, "You can wear sequins if you want." So we did.

Check out Tractor Supply too.  My go-to choice is their house brand Blue Mountain canvas utility pants that are often $10-ish in the stores.  Tan, gray, green, brown, etc.  The ones I get are carpenter cut.

These are my absolute favorite around the house work pants. I'm wearing brown ones right now. They are lighter, cooler, and more comfortable than denim.

So, I must admit that I have never paid attention to how many belt loops are on a pair of jeans until this thread.

Since we are back into jean season here in Chicago, I've been noticing my own supply. Turns out, my single pair of levis have 5 and all 3 pairs of wranglers I have all have 7. I mostly use wranglers as 'shop jeans' since they are frumpy cut and thick and cheap. But I do have one pair that is a bit more of a designer cut and thinner material (similar to levis). It has 7 loops, and I know I got them at Target last year for about $20.

Thanks for making me pay attention to something that I never even knew was something that could be paid attention to.
