They're fast as hell, but they just look so ridiculous lol.

Yeah, they're not the best eating ever, but I've had worse. Kangaroo is pretty good, but it has to be cooked right otherwise you're better off chewing on an old boot.

I'd say weaponising kangaroos would be cool, but they're already pretty good fighters, maybe just armour plate them.

Are you familiar with the Emu war ?

Your emu comment made me think about that and laugh.

My uncle used to raise emus in Florida. God they were shiny happy people, and stupid. They're like 5-6 foot tall geese.

I did eat a bunch of their eggs though.

A war with emu's...Only in Australia right? Hahaha.

Giant geese, Such an apt description! Geese are total shiny happy people lol

I've eaten emu a bit, but I've never tried emu eggs strangely enough, how are they?

They're pretty good if you like yolk in chicken eggs.

There was a place in California that had a challenge to eat a whole emu egg at one point. Not sure if they still do that or not.

For those who don't know, an emu egg is 2-2.5lbs.

Emu are harmless.

a few years ago I had to wrangle a pair of them in the middle of winter from a dirt farm in western Indiana from a one legged man and his septuagenarian friend.  There is a technique, but it isn't particularly hard.

What's your stance on Cassowary?

It's not that they are scary......it's that emu are annoying.

Anyone remember DINO RIDERS? Because I feel this thread needs mobile dinosaur laser artillery platforms.

I haven't seen it, but my childhood was weird.

I almost got kicked out of school for reading Starship Troopers. Worth it since the book is waaaayyyyy better than the movies

I remember that thread. I seem to recall more potential danger from the one-legged man than the birds?
